Taking part in the Brighid Priestess Training was a life changing experience for me. From the first day, it became a deep spiritual journey guided by the amazing Carmel. A journey of self examination, self enquiry, self care but also of communion with the other wonderful women in the group that are like sisters to me now. The practices I have learned in this course accompany me every day bringing light, centering, and support to my life. Carmel is an amazing teacher, so knowledgeable but also so fun to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed our zoom meetings. My name is Maria and I am Irish. Being brought up in Ireland, from a young age I have observed, experienced & listened to stories about my family, their culture, and their ancestors that date back generations. Starting this course I wanted to deepen my connection to ancient Irish traditions and this is exactly what has happened a year and a day on. What I did not realize was that for some of us, who are fully open to this journey and happy to flow honestly and freely through the online classes, tasks, crafting, meditations, workbooks, and days on the land, this can become a truly magical experience. Carmel's 9 modules carried us along the ancient cycles that held our ancestors and kept their magic alive. We also progressed through life rites and learned how to hold sacred space and connect with Brighid, among many other things. We have worked with energy, Brighid's tuning forks for healing, Sacred Geometry and the list goes on! I will hold dear this experience and value the learning I have carried away with me.
